Umbragrus

Umbragrus is the only member of the Confuciosauridae in europe. During the ice ages the southern habitats of the continent were dominated by them, but when the temperatures rise, the Aquilapoda (like Eurovenator) come back from africa and diaplace them.
Umbragrus (means Shadow crane) live like most of it's family near the water and in this case near the coast. they eat fish, birds, eggs but also carcass. The best time to watch them is in the evening when they leaving their nest. Because of the webbed at the feet and the lightly build body hey are able to swimm on the water. At the neck are glands for a oily secretion. With which they rub semselves to stay dry.
