All Your Yesterdays

Thanks to   I became aware of the newest (and if you want free) E-book of Irregular Books.

It's the second volume of All Yesterdays, the book (written and illustrated by the brilliant C.M. Kosemen, John Conway and Darren Naish) which produced new impulses for Paleoart, and especially gives us a free ticket for speculation on high level.

The new book is a documentation of what happend after the publication of Vol. 1.

Memo Kosemen initiates the All Yesterdays contest and (apparently) everyone who has read the book beginn to produce All Yesterdays themed artwork, from well known paleoartists to part time paleo-amateurs. For a few weeks Deviant-art boiled over because of the sheer number of entries. Every day I saw more beautiful/strange/interesting artwork. We saw the first homosexual dinosaur couple, spiderwebs between the horns of chasmosaurs and pachycephalosaurs which try to look like rocks (to count just three prominent cases).

On 187 pages we are introduced to.... well maybe 40% of the contest entries and their creators (I miss my ankylosaurs ) all with an description by Memo and/or quotes from the artist.

I haven't read everything so far but it's really worth a look, for example when you want to know what other paleoartist have produced out of DA (who dosen't know how a Diamantinasaurus in a cave looks like should hurry )
