Scalpricursor

The Scalpricursidea are relatives of the Sicagnthids but usually much smaller than their hypercarnivorous cousins. Scalpricursor goliath is the biggest known species but there are also genera which are not much longer than the head of this specimen. They live in small flocks from the forest ground to the highest branches and feed on smaller animals and fruits. How their long hind limbs suggest they are excellent hoppers, Scalpricursor for example can jump 1,7 meters high.
The other four dwarfed limbs are for carrying food for the juveniles. Those need 3 weeks to leave the nest, which is usually a hollow branch.
