Sapient pterosaur

Description

Had the idea for a intelligent pterosaur yesterday and explored some ideas regarding anatomy and tool use. And yes, it's a azhdarchid.

Edit: Some of you might remember the Lank, a flightless pterosaur from Dougal Dixon. That creature was highly criticized for having a very similar wing configuration. But I think that it just needs the right selective pressure (ad lots of time) to evolve into nearly any form imaginable.
The ancestors of these sapient pterosaurs were for example flighless and semiaquatic, they had much more robust wing carpals and phalanges and were able to rapidly propel themselves through water with this. At one point a larger species began to use the wing fingers to walk at the bottom on lakes, similar to hippos, and when the climate became dryer these forms were among the winners, which came completely back on land. The new habitats they explored were very diverse and possible food sources varied a lot, in this new world intelligence had a chance to be a good adaptation.

Edit 2: Now with three ancestral forms.
1. A form that appeared in the late Cretaceous, basically a flighless Quetzalcoatus sp.
2. During the Eocene such forms evolved into semiaquatic forms, well swimming beings which catched fish in lakes and waterways of the Eurasian jungles.
3. These forms were often larger and better equipped for a omnivorous diet and appeared during the Oligocene. They guys were the first which used their wing fingers no longer for underwater flying but for walking over the bottom of lakes while the large webbed feet propelled them through deeper parts. One family which evolved from these creatures became very hippo like herbivores, another group began to move fully back to land after the climate became dryer in their habitat. Among these new forest and savanna inhabitants was a clade of highly flexible and intelligent forms which ultimately lead to the sapient pterosaurs we know today.
