Palanaribus by Hyrotrioskjan Palanaribus by Hyrotrioskjan
Haven't I said the biggest cuspipods are aquatic =D

Well, these honestly aren't proper cuspipods but near relatives, the Dracovermidae

They are nocturnal predatory creatures which dig burrows into the shoreline where they rest during the day. Therefore they have a flatten snout which they use like a shovel. The rest of the body lost it's shell. Two of their legs become highly sensitive and fuction now as feelers.

It looks as a slow evolutional step from worms to fishes. They resembles a hagfishes or lampreys.

Their bodies are flexible???  I thought they had an exoskeleton.

That aside, I love these ones, still it feels like they should have developed to be somewhat flattened ether verticly or horizontally, letting them swim better.

Now if they just started forming a stiff protective cover over their central nerves system, something their musculature could push off of for more strength and speed.  Heck it could even start to mineralize for a little extra protection and firmness.
