New prehistoric exhibition

Last Friday I visited the LWL Musum of Natural History in Münster with  
The reason was the new exhibition on dinosaurs and evolution. This part of the museum was closed for some time and is now open again with many up to date reconstructions, many new fossils (most of them original) and some cool Plaeoart. You can see that it is really new because they have already Kulidadromeus is their feathered dinosaurs cladogram.
Here a few, not so good, photos of our visit. 
From left to right.
1. Some advertisement on the toilets.
2. The old exhibition had one of these Deinonychus in scaly... and it still have, the new and the old model are now standing together to show how our understanding of this animal has changed,
3. I tried to contact the museum to ask if I could help with some artwork but never got a answer, the exhibition went awesome non the less but with me they would have never a David Peters reconstruction on the wall... (our neighbors the designer take part...)
4. A wonderful Anchiornis model. They have some very well made new models, beside this and the Epidexipteryx the museum have also a Sinosauropteryx a Velociraptor, Archaeopteryx and a Citipati for which they used Julio Lacerda's digital model as a reference: www.wdr5.de/federdino102_v-ARD…
5. A still unnamed big theropod from the region (there were also some fossils from my home town, permian and carboniferous stuff)

6. Westphaliasaurus, a very well preserved Plesiosaur, also from NRW, it was bigger than I imagined.
7. Beside the dinosaurs and other mesozoic creatures there was a brilliant section about the evolution of whales. Centerpiece is this a adult sperm whale skeleton.
8. Epidexipteryx, very cute critter ^^
9. A pheasant sitting on the arm of an T. rex. The tyranosaur is placed directly beside the sperm whale so you can compare the size and anatomy of the old and the new king
Apart fro the T. rex there is also a Iguanodon (to have a local touch), Stegosaurus ( now with throat armor) a Allosaurus and a Camarasaurus. 
10. Some art on the wall, I saw on spot that it was stuff by Frederik Spindler but a few small sign under the picture made me jump in the air "Yes! I know my art"
11. Apart form the sperm whale the museum have now a bunch of extinct stem-whales. Pakicetus, Ambulocetus and Maiacetus are shown behind glass while a Dorudon is hanging from the ceiling.

The musum is definately worth a visit, and I will visit it soon again.
