Mangrove Mulakango

Coral fish slugs aren't the only sea slugs from Mars which found a new home on Nea. The Mulakangos are large, free swimming mollusks with bright green skin. This subspecies lives near the coast, mostly in brackish water and the giant delta of the Hubur. 
They are herbivores, slowly grazing on algae which grow mostly on the roots of mangroves. Beside this they also use photosynthesis themselves and can be often seen near the surface where they bath in the sun.
The natives of the Hubur region sometimes hunt these animals, they are surprising tasty and are often served without vegetables (for obvious reasons)
