Oh wow, Indian dragons too.....well, although I would probably have expected it to have looked like a realistic, more reptilian and scientifically plausible version of the makara, the real Indian Subcontinent dragon motif-it's a motif that appears as a carving in ancient temples throughout the Subcontinent....

The Sri Lankan version has a bird's wings, elephant's trunk, lion's paws, monkey's eyes, fish's scales and pig's ears.....ears are eliminated. 'Elephant's trunk' would be an overhanging display organ in only males.....scales okay, wings okay, all the rest would be like a normal dragon fo some sort. The Indian version looks more crocodilian though......:) Just a suggestion.

A very good suggestion, when you ask me. I have drawn some sketches immediately, but it's really difficult to create a structure that is trunk-like without to be a trunk.
First I thought about a skin flap like a turkey, but this looked not trunk-like enough, than I try to give him feeler like the Confuciosaurus (Because asian dragons belong to this group) but there is the same problem.
Maybe a combination of both can show what I want, I must try it out.

What if it'd be an aberrant Asian dragon? And thanks for looking into my suggestion in fact! :) I always guessed that maybe most of these dragons would be divergent enough to look like their mythological base itself, like say a Japanese dragon would look like an orochi, a Thai or Burmese would look like a naga motif-but with legs and wings-and a Greek or Roman one would look like....say....I dunno, quite serpentine. The north and western European and British dragons would be like y'know, the normal dragon concept.....that's all I was thinking of lately. Soudns bizarre, I know.

Normaly yes, but dragons have a few tricks to hold the heat. The wings have, like pterosaurs large blood vessels in the wings to transport the warm blood in the body. Also they are mostly diurnal.
In the top of the nose are special tissue to prevent heat loss by breathing and to stop the loss of water.

Oh, and there is a group of dragons with isulation, for example Gelupterus: [link]

dang that is a very interesting dinosaur.itsforearms looks so surreal, i'd like to see a dino documentary showing this guy. cause he looks more awesome than any raptor i've ever seen. though its arms are interesting, makes me wonder how it would walk and use such arms,

It's not a raptor at all. It's more closely related to monitor lizards than any dinosaur.
